Credit Repair

What is Credit Repair?

Credit Repair involves identifying and disputing inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information on your credit report with the goal of improving your credit score. The process typically involves:

  • Obtaining Your Credit Report: Request a copy of your credit report from the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion).
  • Reviewing the Report: Check for errors, such as incorrect account information, outdated negative items, or unauthorized transactions.
  • Disputing Errors: Send dispute letters to the credit bureaus and the creditors to correct inaccuracies.
  • Following Up: Monitor the progress and ensure that corrections are made.
  • Improving Habits: Additionally, adopting better credit habits, like paying bills on time and reducing debt, is essential to maintaining a good credit score.

How long does the credit repair process take?

The timeline for credit repair can vary, but you can generally expect to see some results within 3 to 6 months. The credit bureaus are required by law to respond to disputes within 30 to 45 days. However, depending on the complexity and number of issues being disputed, the entire process might take longer.

Can you guarantee that my credit score will improve?

Credit repair is about correcting errors, and while removing inaccurate negative items can improve your score, the extent of the improvement depends on various factors, such as the accuracy of your credit report and your overall credit habits. Realistically, you can expect improvements over your 6 months dispute process, but results can vary.

  • Inaccurate Late Payments: Payments incorrectly marked as late.

This approach aggressively addresses the negative information on your credit report, contributing positively to improving your credit scores.

What should I do if I am being sued while disputing my credit?

If you're being sued, it's important to address the situation promptly. We have a referral program where we can connect you with legal experts who can help you file a lawsuit against companies that may have violated your rights. Usually, companies that sue are in violation of several laws. By working with a legal expert, you can potentially earn $500.00 per violation in damages. However, you need to request with us to sign up with them for representation.
Important Note: If you choose not to use this service, it’s still essential to attend any scheduled court dates. Ignoring them can lead to a default judgment against you. If you've reached this stage with a creditor, negotiating a small payment plan with the stipulation that they remove the account or report it as paid on time and never late can help. Be sure to include these stipulations to avoid further damage to your credit report.

Can we remove late payments while keeping a specific account open?

However, in emergencies or if a client finds better pricing elsewhere, we can offer a refund. Clients can cancel at any time, but refunds will not be issued for services already rendered. Please speak to a supervisor if you need a refund.
